Genesis

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya IIMC JOKA has started working in1982 for Classes I to V in a temporary building. Later on in the year 2007 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building.

It has all along been uncompromising on the quality of education right from its inception in September 1982.
• It has been making rapid strides in ensuring the holistic development of the personality of the children by providing opportunities in various scholastic and non-scholastic activities. The large and suitably furnished classrooms, well equipped science and computer laboratories, a C.C.A. hall, a thoughtfully stocked library, a large playground and the lush green lawn around the school building provide excellent infrastructural facilities.
In order to set new standards in the education system, the Vidyalaya implements various creative methods such as parent-teachers interaction, innovative methods in teaching, engagement of contractual teaching staff and coaches for various activities, remedial classes, review of students performances etc. with great care & enthusiasm.
Standard I to X two sections each and Standard XI and XII Science, Commerce and Humanities Stream
There are 26 class rooms, 5 Labs, 2 Computer Labs, Play ground and With Activity rooms.
